I think that Connor's general annoyed look in this photo says it all: "Guys, you've gotta do something about this place."

So - Mad Dog did something. Today much of the back porch came away. Off to the races! Layers to be removed include vinyl, then weatherproofing, then original siding, then wood, then studs.
